The Thinking Behind

"The Possible You"

Let's get it right,

for YOU.

Everyone’s biology is unique, which means there’s no one-size-fits-all prescription for living well. We ask the questions that explore underlying causes rather than simply addressing the symptoms

People today are more aware of the importance of physical health and striving for longevity but they struggle to understand the underlying roadblocks that are stopping them from achieving their goals.

Unfortunately, it’s a frustratingly common scenario; your doctor sends you off with your diagnosis — but no meaningful, current nutrition advice or lifestyle changes. The traditional medical model of care focuses on surgeries and medicines as treatment.

But, our fate is not set in stone. With the right roadmap we can plot a better path for our lives and greatly reduce the risk of needing medical intervention.  Achieving "The Possible You" involves working together to create a simple, sustainable and adaptable plan for achieving your goals; health, fitness, sports,  inter-personal and career.

We start with the end in mind. Where do you (really) want to get to? What is a realistic goal and time frame for achieving it?

Safely.

Would you like to lose some weight? Or, look and feel younger? Perhaps you know deep down you can take a few seconds off your race time but need some help to do it. Maybe your memory isn't what it used to be and you feel a bit like you're wandering around in a fog.

From your innermost personal dreams to your interpersonal relationship desires, The Possible You is about identifying where you want to be and helping you to get there.

We tap into what your body is telling you and help you adjust accordingly.

Essentially, everything starts from within; from the gut and having a healthy gut biome. Together, we  focus on understanding what is and what isn't working for you through observation.  Observation can mean something low-tech like a food and mood journal or high-tech like laboratory testing, a blood glucose/ketone monitor and wearables; and being mindful of the effect different foods have on the way we feel when we eat them at different times and with other foods.

Education is critical to reversing the tragic "science" of previous decades and helping you understand how the body works holistically. Modern main-stream medicine prescribes, but The Possible You is all about discovery; listening, teaching and learning.

We have racked-up thousands of hours of learning and use this to benefit our clients. We're not here to tell you "Do this, don't do that", but rather "The body works this way, let's make it work for you".  We show you how to find great food and the right supplements and very cool lifestyle hacks that will ensure the journey makes sense and will be enjoyable so you'll want it to last a long time - for a lifetime.

Use biology, not willpower.

We sell ourselves short if we suggest we can simply change our behaviour by just “willing it to be”.

The very suggestion ignores a lifetime of conditioning that has taken root in the default firings of the nervous system engineered to produce particular default behaviours in response to our interpretations about the world. We don't just override such deeply embodied conditioning simply through a good intention.

As a general rule, most of us are pretty lazy and most of us fall back on those defaults. Unless we begin to shift the physiological substrate of our behaviours that actually give rise to different faults we tend to  respond to immediate triggers and immediate concerns.

Our body sticks to its habits hard.

Adjusting our “set point” through putting in the work allows a resilient, centred, grounded state to actually become the default of what our nervous system tends to do, rather than the usual way most of us tend to act. Adjusting our biological "set point" is what makes our successes sustainable.

Of course, we need to draw on our determination to get through the early stages. Resetting habits takes some willpower but it doesn’t work to rely on willpower alone.

Today, more than ever, you need to make the right decisions to become and stay healthy. That means living better, becoming resilient, understanding and taking control of your own biology and being prepared for whatever the world throws at you. The Possible You can help you get there and stay there.

"The Possible You" works.

It's a very different physiological basis or “way of being” in the world.

Healthspan v. Lifespan

Rethinking Healthcare and Lifestyle to Live Better for Longer

For all its successes, mainstream medicine has failed to make much progress against the diseases of ageing that kill most people: heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and type 2 diabetes.

Too often, it intervenes with treatments too late to help, prolonging lifespan at the expense of healthspan, or quality of life.

DayOne Limitless believes we must replace this outdated framework with a personalized, proactive strategy for functional healthcare; one where we take action now, rather than waiting.

Our mission is to help our clients wake up each morning feeling confident, strong and ready to tackle the day. Our clients say they sleep flawlessly, think clearly and quickly and are pain-free.
